Colleagues Jennifer Hunter and Hannah Vaughan recently visited Hudson Primary School in Maghull for ‘Meet the Professionals’ Day, sharing what a career in law really looks like with curious Year 5 and 6 students.

It was a chance to open doors, showing young people the different routes into law, the skills that matter, and the variety of paths the profession offers.

Jennifer and Hannah loved the energy in the room. Hannah reflected: “It was rewarding being able to reflect and share our own journeys into the profession with the year 5 & 6 students.  All the children were polite, enthusiastic, and asked brilliant questions, wanting to know the different routes of qualifying, how long it took us and why we got into the profession in the first place. There were definitely some future legal professionals amongst them! We hope they enjoyed the experience as much as we did and more importantly took some guidance from us and listened to our advice to not give up on their dreams whatever they may be.”

At Maxwell Hodge, giving back matters. Events like this remind us why – because the next generation deserves to see what’s possible.

Thanks to Tina Baker from Elevate Education Business Partnership for organising, and to all the students who made the day so memorable.
