Are you looking to qualify as a Solicitor through an alternative route while gaining valuable, hands-on experience in a busy law firm?

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Solicitor Apprentice to join our Litigation teams. This is an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding legal career while working towards solicitor qualification, supported by experienced fee earners and a structured development programme.

The Role

Working within our Litigation teams, you will gain practical experience across a range of legal matters while studying towards your qualification. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting solicitors and fee earners with a varied caseload including medical negligence, personal injury, disputes, and debt recovery matters.
  • Speaking with clients and providing excellent client care.
  • Drafting correspondence and legal documents.
  • Preparing case files and bundles.
  • Undertaking legal research.
  • Liaising with courts, barristers, experts and third parties.
  • Managing administrative tasks to support case progression.
  • Developing your legal knowledge and skills through a structured apprenticeship programme.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has strong academic ability and a genuine interest in pursuing a legal career.
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Is organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Has strong attention to detail.
  • Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Is committed to learning, development, and professional growth to undertake a 6-year structured programme to qualify as a solicitor.

Entry requirements:

  • 3 A Levels at Grade C or above.
  • 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English at Grade 4 or above.
