Julia Evans, Giving Manager at Wirral Hospice St John’s recently visited our West Kirby branch, where Candice Jones and Lisa Cockburn proudly presented a cheque for £1,800 on behalf of the Directors at Maxwell Hodge.

Julia expressed her gratitude, saying she felt very welcomed by the team and shared:

“Thank you so much for your extremely kind and generous donation of £1,800 which will make such a big difference at the Hospice.  Your donation and support really mean a lot to us.  Thank you so much to everyone in your team for your kindness and generosity and for your ongoing support of the Hospice.”

Wirral Hospice St John’s is an incredible local charity providing free care for adult patients, as well as vital support for carers and loved ones.  Families are truly at the heart of everything they do.  While the Hospice receives some NHS funding, the majority of its income comes from donations – meaning every penny raised helps them continue their compassionate work and make a real difference to the lives of patients and their families.
