We want to celebrate our colleague Claire Banks, who generously gave her time this week to support ‘Practice Interview’ day at Salesian Academy of St John Bosco. The event, coordinated by Tina Baker from Elevate Education Business Partnership, saw professionals from various industries conduct mock interviews with approximately 100 Year 10 students – providing essential preparation for their transition into the workplace and encouraging them to consider their career aspirations.

Tina expressed her gratitude: “Events like these simply wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of professionals like you. Your willingness to help students develop their confidence and practice their skills speaking about themselves with someone new is an invaluable experience, and it makes a real difference for many of them.  We are truly grateful for the positive impact you have had. It was a fantastic morning, the feedback from students has been overwhelmingly positive & the school has also asked me to pass along their thanks for your support as well.”

Reflecting on the day, Claire said: “I thoroughly enjoyed meeting the students I interviewed on Tuesday. They were a pleasure to talk to. It cannot have been easy for them to take part in the process. They all did extremely well. I understand they reported having benefitted from the experience, which is good to know. Elevate play an excellent role in schools, helping students to make choices by providing them with the opportunity to meet with people and find out what jobs they do. As a business, we are pleased to work, and be associated with, them.”

Our thanks once again to Claire for representing Maxwell Hodge and for her ongoing dedication to supporting the next generation.
