We want to extend a massive thank you to our wonderful colleagues, Kirsty Cartwright and Hannah Vaughan, for dedicating their time and expertise to attend the annual Careers Fair at Blue Coat School Liverpool last Friday. The event, held during National Careers Week, welcomed over 60 employers and educational organisations.
Kirsty and Hannah thoroughly enjoyed their day engaging with the students, who asked some brilliant and thought-provoking questions.
Kirsty, a highly valued and knowledgeable member of our Lifetime Planning Team, provided valuable insights into the legal profession. She shared, “It was lovely to be back where I studied and started my own path to law.”
Hannah, who recently embarked on the next exciting stage of her career by commencing her training contract as a Trainee Solicitor, offered advice to students considering a career in law. Her journey, from joining Maxwell Hodge as a Conveyancing Assistant to beginning her training contract, serves as an inspiring example for those exploring their own career paths.
So, why do these events matter?
Events like these are crucial in helping students bridge the gap between education and the working world. By hearing directly from professionals like Kirsty and Hannah, students can:
– Explore career options they may not have considered.
– Gain practical knowledge about the skills and education needed for specific roles.
– Get inspired and motivated to pursue their goals.
– Ask questions and network with people in their field of interest.
We are incredibly proud of Kirsty and Hannah for representing Maxwell Hodge and for their willingness to share their knowledge and experience. Thank you both for making a difference in the lives of these students who, we are sure, left the event with a renewed understanding of the possibilities that a career in law can offer and the inspiration to take their next steps with confidence.
